Privacy Policy

The short version

Radius collects only what it needs to match you with the right people at the right event. We don't sell your data, we don't train models on it, and we don't have advertisers. When you leave, we delete your data.

What we collect

Your name and email address (from Google sign-in or email OTP). The email is used to authenticate you and to send login codes.
Profile info you choose to share: role, headline, bio, interests, intents (what you're looking for), what you're currently building, optional phone number, optional photo.
An AI embedding of your profile— a 768- dimension vector generated from your text fields, used to find people with overlapping interests and intent. You can't reverse-engineer it back to text.
Connections and messages you create on Radius. Messages are stored in our database and visible to you and the person you sent them to.
Basic error logsfrom Sentry (a third-party error-tracking service) when something crashes. These don't include your messages or chat content — just stack traces.

What we don't collect

Your physical location, GPS, or Bluetooth signals.
Your contacts, address book, or phone storage.
Browsing history or tracking across other sites.
Payment information — Radius is free.

Who sees what

Your public profile (name, role, headline, interests, photo) is visible to other attendees of the same event so they can discover you.
Your phone number(if you provided one) is only visible to people you've mutually connected with.
Your chat messagesare only visible to you and the person you're messaging.
Your email address is never shown to other users.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Supabase (Postgres database, EU region) and the app runs on Vercel (global edge). Both providers are industry-standard and SOC 2 compliant. We don't back up data elsewhere.

How long we keep it

For an event-specific deployment (like AI Day Bhopal 2.0), we archive the data 30 days after the event and delete it within 90 days unless you ask sooner. You can email us to delete your account at any time.

Cookies

We only use cookies needed for sign-in (so you stay logged in). No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking.

Your rights

You can:

See everything we have on you (email us).
Correct anything wrong (edit your profile in the app).
Export your data (email us).
Delete your account and all data (email us).
